If your parish is not listed in our parish endowment portfolio, one of the most impactful ways you can support your parish is by establishing an endowment at the Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma. By doing so, you provide your parish with a steady and reliable revenue stream—year after year, in perpetuity.
Endowments not only honor your dedication to your parish, but they also ensure that future generations will continue to benefit from the spiritual and community services it offers.How to Establish an Endowment
Establishing an endowment can be a simple process, and one of the most accessible ways to do so is through a gift in your Will. Here's sample language you can use:
“This gift is to be used to create a new permanent endowment at
the Catholic Foundation of Oklahoma to benefit [insert parish name].”This language ensures that your gift will provide lasting support to the parish you love, allowing it to thrive well into the future.
Other Ways to Support Your Parish
In addition to creating an endowment, you can contribute to an existing endowment or make a direct gift through:
- Gifts of Stock: A gift of appreciated stock can benefit both you and your school, allowing you to support education while maximizing your tax benefits.

- Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs): If you are 70 1/2 or older, you can make a tax-free gift directly from your IRA, providing crucial support to your Catholic school.
